Welcome! Ayr Roads Cycling Club / Harry Fairbairn BMW were established in 1930. Members enjoy all aspects of cycle sport, but have a heavy focus on road activity (as our name suggests). Our current membership includes former regional, national and UCI medallists.
We have a regular programme of events, including Sunday club rides, mid week training evenings and a summer time trial league. We also promote several open competitions including the prestigious South Carrick David Bell Memorial race.

Does anybody know of any mountain bike clubs in the area? My son is keen to train and compete in downhill mountain biking.
Some of the guys of the club do a bit of mtb’ing
Walkers Cycling by Kilmarnock have a really active mountain bike scene, and recently helped run a race league too. Really friendly club – great place to start.
